Where to Place My Hands during Prayer?

Is there a fixed way to place my hands during prayer? Wherever pose I choose, does it invalidate my prayer?

While prayer I place my hands over my chest. I’m comfortable with them that way. Some pray with their hands by their sides, while others disagree with that saying they should be placed below the navel.
