What Kind Of Salah Are You Praying?

Breaking away from an overloaded daily schedule with so many things to do, I seek refugee in Allah; turning to Him in Salah. Yet, as soon I start praying and say Allahu Akbar (God is the Greatest) many things, even trivial details, are going on my mind, distracting me.

Does this happen to you too? As soon as you stand in Salah you are distracted by many thoughts? How could I be standing between God’s hands and still be overwhelmed by other things whatsoever?

How could I prevent that mixing between contacting with God and thinking in other things in salah?

Allah Almighty says:

Successful indeed are the believers, who are humble in their prayers… (Al-Mu’minun 23:1, 2)

How could I attain total khushu (humility and submission) in Prayer? How could I stand before God thinking in Him alone? What am I asked to do?
