…And live with them in kindness… (An-Nisaa’ 4:19)
Islamic Law instructed husbands to treat their wives gently, smile at their faces, remove any harm that might hurt them even if it is emotionally, and be patient with them. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: ” “The best of you is the one who is best to his wife, and I am the best of you to my wives.” (Ibn Majah)
