Praying (Make Salah) While Facing the Toilet
Question:
What is the ruling of praying (making salah) while facing the place of answering the call of nature (toilet)?
Answer:
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright.
The bathroom being in front of the Muslim does not nullify the prayer due to the generality of the saying of the Prophet (peace be upon him), “The earth was made a praying place and a means of purification for me.” (Al-Bukhari)
