The most important of prayers are the obligatory five daily prayers. There is a consensus among Muslims that the one who denies or doubts their obligation is not a Muslim, as these prayers are among the pillars of Islam.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 14pt\">There are slight differences among the schools of Fiqh on how we pray, based on the available <em>hadiths<\/em> and references to each one of those scholars. For example, the Hanafi <em>Madhhab<\/em> are of the view that it is permissible to pray the three <em>rak`ahs<\/em> of <em>witr<\/em>\u00a0continuously with a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.prayerinislam.com\/fatwas-rulings\/joining-imam-last-tashahhud\/\"><em>tashahhud<\/em><\/a>\u00a0after the second <em>rak`ah\u00a0<\/em>similar to the Maghrib Prayer. However, the majority of scholars\u00a0 are of the view that it is permissible to pray the three<em> rak`has<\/em> of <em>witr<\/em> without sitting in the middle for <em>tashahhud<\/em>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 14pt\">The Prophet (peace be upon him) recommended us to keep offering the witr Prayer,\u00a0Ibn `Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, &#8220;Make Witr prayer the last of your <a href=\"http:\/\/www.prayerinislam.com\/fatwas-rulings\/obligatory-prayer-before-its-fixed-time\/\">Salah <\/a>at night.&#8221; (Agreed Upon)\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 14pt\">`Ali ibn Abui Talib narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: &#8220;Allah is Witr (single, odd) and loves what is Witr. So perform Witr prayer.
