Then, one sits the same as in between the two prostrations, putting one&#8217;s left hand on the left knee and right hand on his right knee. The fist of the right hand is to be fold up except\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif\">for the index finger which is protruded. In this position, one should say, &#8220;<em>At-Tahiyyatu Lillaahi was-salawaatu wat-tayyibaat. As-salamu \u2018alayka ayyuha an-Nabiyyu wa rahmat-Allaahi wa barakaatuhu. As-salamu \u2018alaynaa wa \u2018ala \u2018ibad-illah as-saliheen. Ash-hadu an laa ilaaha ill-Allah wahdahu lasharika lah wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan \u2018abduhu wa rasoluh&#8230;<\/em> (All compliments, prayers and pure words are due to Allah. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous slaves of Allah.
