Hence, the respect shown to Allah must be displayed to His word as well. Being silent and listening is a sincere sign of this act of respect. The above verse determines that we should listen carefully to the recitation of the Book of Allah as it is an act of worship. The Muslim should be connected to the Qur\u2019an most of the time.<\/p>\n<p>Responding to this question, Dr. Muhammad Salah states that playing the Qur\u2019an while asleep is not only permissible, but also recommended as long as one is not busy watching movies or something else as it will be kind of disrespect to the Book of Allah. Keeping the Qur\u2019an on at home spreads the tranquility and it keeps house clear from Satan.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Muhammad Salah advises to play <em>Surat Al-Baqarah<\/em> once every day if possible. Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, \u201cDo not make your houses as graveyards.
