Whatever is in the heavens and earth is exalting Him. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise. <\/strong>(<a href=\"http:\/\/www.learning-quran.com\/quran-translations\/en-translation\/mishari-bin-rashid\/recitation-surat-al-hashr\/\">Al-Hashr<\/a> 59:27)<\/p>\n<p>Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, \u201cAllah has ninety-nine Names, i.e., one hundred minus one, and whoever believes in their meanings and acts accordingly, will enter Paradise; and Allah is <em>witr<\/em> (one) and loves <em>\u2018the witr\u2018<\/em> (i.e., odd numbers).\u201d (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.the-faith.com\/islamic-history\/albukhari-the-imam-of-hadith-and-sunnah\/\">Al-Bukhari<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Yasir Qadhi continues his commentary on the Beautiful Names of Allah. In today\u2019s episode, he explains the spiritual meanings of the Attribute <em>\u2018Ar-Rahman\u2019<\/em> and its derivatives. <em>\u2018Al-Rahman\u2019<\/em> is an Attribute specifically relevant to Allah; none besides Him can be called or referred to as such, whereas <em>\u2018Al-Rahim\u2019<\/em> can be applied to people. One may be described as <em>\u2018Rahim\u2019<\/em>, merciful or kind, but a human cannot be <em>\u2018Rahman\u2019<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Then, Dr. Yasri mentions some of the rules that Allah Almighty has decreed upon Himself and are founded in the Qur\u2019an.
