Whatever is in the heavens and earth is exalting Him. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise. <\/strong>(<a href=\"http:\/\/www.learning-quran.com\/quran-translations\/en-translation\/mishari-bin-rashid\/recitation-surat-al-hashr\/\">Al-Hashr<\/a> 59:27)<\/p>\n<p>Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, \u201cAllah has ninety-nine Names, i.e., one hundred minus one, and whoever believes in their meanings and acts accordingly, will enter Paradise; and Allah is <em>witr<\/em> (one) and loves <em>\u2018the witr\u2018<\/em> (i.e., odd numbers).\u201d (<a href=\"http:\/\/the-faith.com\/islamic-history\/albukhari-the-imam-of-hadith-and-sunnah\/\">Al-Bukhari<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Yasir Qadhi continues his commentary on the Beautiful Names of Allah. \u00a0The verb <em>\u2018rahima\u2019<\/em> means to help somebody without expecting anything in return. Abu Hurairah reported: I heard Allah\u2019s Messenger (peace be upon him) as saying: \u201cAllah created mercy in one hundred parts and He retained with Him ninety-nine parts, and He has sent down upon the earth one part, and it is because of this one part that there is mutual love among the creation so much so that the animal lifts up its hoof from its young one, fearing that it might harm it.\u201d (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.the-faith.com\/featured\/imam-muslim-leading-scholar-hadith\/\">Muslim<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Yasir mentions the wisdom of combination between the Name <em>Ar-Raheem<\/em> and Al-Ghafur.
