Counting Menstrual Period (Haidh) Exactly<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

Question:\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

I had my menstrual period but the blood stopped the next day, and a few days later I saw the blood again. How should I act in such case?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Answer:<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

In the name of\u00a0Allah<\/a>, we praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright.<\/span><\/p>\n

Menstruation (Haidh<\/em><\/a>) is a type of blood that is discharged from the womb of a woman every month, this is also known as menses. Females have regular periods during their reproductive age.<\/span><\/p>\n

During menses it is not permissible for a woman to:<\/span><\/p>\n

– Touching or reciting the Quran.<\/span><\/p>\n

– Fasting.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

– Entering the Masjid.<\/span><\/p>\n

– Performing Tawaf<\/em> around the Kabah<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

– Offering Prayer (Salah).<\/span><\/p>\n

– Having Sexual relations.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It was narrated that Allah revealed the words: “They ask you concerning menstruation. Say: that is a harmful thing, therefore keep away from women during menses.” The Messenger of Allah said: “Do everything except sexual intercourse.” (Ibn Majah)\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
