It was narrated that \u2018Amr ibn Salamah Al-Jarami said: “My father came from the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said that he had heard the Prophet say, \u2018When the time for prayer comes, let the one among you who knows the most Qur\u2019an lead you in prayer.\u2019 They looked and they did not find anyone who knew more Qur\u2019an than me, so they made me lead them in prayer, and I was a boy of six or seven years.” (Al-Bukhari)<\/p>\n

In this talk, Sheikh Muhammad Salah clarifies the conditions that allow one to lead congregational prayer even if he is young.<\/p>\n
