Therefore, is it permissible to pray the Sunnah of Maghrib after `Isha&#8217; Prayer?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 14pt\">Answer:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 14pt\">In the name of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.the-faith.com\/category\/islamic-creed\/almighty-allah\/\">Allah<\/a>, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 14pt\">Um Salamah narrated, &#8220;I heard the Prophet prohibiting them and afterwards saw him praying them. When he came in I sent the slave girl to him telling her to say that Umm Salamah sent this query, \u201cMessenger of God, I heard you prohibiting these two, and I see you praying them.\u201d He replied, \u201cDaughter of Abu Umayyah,* you have asked about the two <em>rak`ahs<\/em> after the afternoon prayer. Some people of \u2018Abd Qais came and hindered me from praying the two <em>rak`ahs<\/em> which come after the noon prayer, so those are the two I have been praying.&#8221; (Al-Bukhari)\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 14pt\">In another hadith, Qais ibn `Amr said: The Prophet (peace be upon him) saw a man praying two <em>rak`ahs<\/em> after Fajr. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.prayerinislam.com\/guide-to-prayer\/virtues-fajr-prayer\/\">Fajr<\/a> prayer twice?&#8221; The man said to him: I did not pray the two <em>rak\u2018ahs<\/em> that come before it, so I prayed them (now). And the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) did not say anything.
