Praying on Bed<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Question:\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Is it permissible to pray<\/a> on my bed if there is no other place to pray at in the room?<\/span><\/p>\n

Answer:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

In the name of Allah<\/a>, we praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is permissible for one to pray on his bed so long as it is firm and he is able to place his forehead and nose firmly when prostrating.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sheikh Salih Al-Fawzan said, “There is nothing wrong with praying on something that is raised such as a bed and the like, if it is clean and is firm and will not shake or wobble and distract the Muslim.<\/span><\/p>\n
