{"id":4500,"date":"2025-10-14T03:37:38","date_gmt":"2025-10-14T03:37:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/imuslim.us\/?p=4500"},"modified":"2025-10-14T03:37:38","modified_gmt":"2025-10-14T03:37:38","slug":"islam-and-the-environment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/imuslim.us\/?p=4500","title":{"rendered":"Does Islam Care for the the Environment?"},"content":{"rendered":"<pre><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">By Editorial Staff<\/span><\/strong><\/pre>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.islam.com.kw\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The E-Da`wah Committee<\/a> presents this video which shows the position of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.islam.com.kw\/what-is-islam\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Islam <\/a>regarding <a href=\"http:\/\/www.the-faith.com\/featured-posts\/environment-elements-quran\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Environment<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The concept of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.new-muslims.info\/muslim-lifestyle\/worldview\/islam-environment\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">environment in Islam<\/a> is a comprehensive one, as it includes the whole universe that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.the-faith.com\/islamic-creed\/almighty-allah\/between-love-of-allah-and-love-of-oneself\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Almighty Allah<\/a> has created and put in the service of man.<\/p>\n<p>Islam orders to preserve this trust and do the effort to make better of it. Allah (glory be to Him) stated in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.learning-quran.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the Qur\u2019an<\/a> that man is His successor on the earth. Allah says,<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;padding-right: 30px\"><strong>And (remember) as your Lord said to the Angels, &#8220;Surely I am making in the earth a successor. <\/strong>(<a href=\"http:\/\/www.learning-quran.com\/quran-translations\/en-translation\/mishari-bin-rashid\/recitation-surat-al-baqarah\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Al-Baqarah <\/a>2:30)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.learning-quran.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Qur\u2019an<\/a> prohibits a Muslim to cause corruption in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.the-faith.com\/revelation\/scientific-miracles\/is-earth-a-rotating-sphere\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">earth<\/a>, Almighty Allah says,<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;padding-right: 30px\"><strong>And seek not corruption in the earth. Indeed, Allah does not like corrupters.<\/strong>\u00a0(<a href=\"http:\/\/www.learning-quran.com\/quran-translations\/en-translation\/mishari-bin-rashid\/recitation-surat-al-qasas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Al-Qasas<\/a> 28:77)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.new-muslims.info\/category\/prophet-muhammad\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Prophet (peace be upon him)<\/a> is reported to have said: &#8220;There is none amongst the Muslims who plants a tree or sows seeds, and then a bird, or a person or an animal eats from it, but is regarded as a charitable gift for him.&#8221; (Al-Bukhari)<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Does Islam Care for the the Environment?
