Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;font-family: georgia, palatino, serif\">It was narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, &#8220;A slave becomes nearest to his Lord when he is in prostration. So, increase supplications while prostrating.&#8221; (Muslim)\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;font-family: georgia, palatino, serif\">In another hadith, Allah&#8217;s Messenger (peace be upon him) said: &#8220;I have been forbidden to recite the Qur&#8217;an while bowing or prostrating; so while in the bowing (position) glorify (the Perfection of) the <em>Rabb<\/em> (Lord), and while in the prostrating (position) be earnest in supplication, for it is potential that your supplications may be answered.&#8221; ( <a href=\"https:\/\/www.the-faith.com\/islamic-history\/muslim-figures\/imam-muslim-leading-scholar-hadith\/\">Muslim<\/a>)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;font-family: georgia, palatino, serif\">It is highly recommended for the Muslim to make <em>duaa<\/em> (supplicate to Allah the Exalted) for anything good in this world and the Hereafter during <em>Sujud<\/em> (prostration) in the manner one wishes. One can make <em>du`aa<\/em> during <em>sujud<\/em> during Prayer (Salah) in any language. However, it is disliked to make it in other than Arabic for one who speaks Arabic.
