If a person joined the imam in the second, third, or fourth <em>rak`ah<\/em>, he stands up after the <em>tasleem<\/em> (end of prayer) and offers the <em>rak`ahs<\/em> he missed.<\/p>\n<p>Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: I heard the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.the-faith.com\/category\/prophet-muhammad\/\">Messenger of Allah<\/a><\/strong> (peace be upon him) saying, &#8220;When the <em>Iqamah<\/em> is pronounced, do not come to it running, you should walk calmly with tranquility to join the congregation.
