They [are the ones who] believe in it. <\/strong>(<a href=\"http:\/\/www.learning-quran.com\/quran-translations\/en-translation\/recitation-surat-al-baqarah\/\">Al-Baqarah<\/a> 2:121)<\/p>\n<p>Welcome to a new interesting episode of \u201cCorrect Your Recitation\u201d series with Sheikh Muhammad Salah and his guests. First Sheikh Isma`il recites from the fist verse of Surat <em>Al-Haqqah<\/em> (The 69<sup>th<\/sup> Chapter of the Qur\u2019an with 52 verses that was revealed in Makkah) to verse 18.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>surah<\/em> in general talks about the events of the Hereafter, Resurrection, recompense and reward. Hence, the central theme of this surah is <em>`Aqeedah<\/em> (Creed). The very first verses of the surah talks about the inevitable occurrence of resurrection. The, the <em>surah<\/em> sheds some light on the history of the nations, which lived before the Prophet (peace be upon him), testifies that the nation which refused to believe in the Hereafter and thought this worldly life only to be the real life and denied that man would have ultimately to render an account of his deeds before Allah, corrupted itself morally until the punishment of Allah overtook it and eliminated it from the world.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Muhammad Salah ponders over the verses explaining the meaning of \u2018Al-<em>Haqqah\u2019<\/em> and the description of the Resurrection.
