Welcome to this new interesting episode of Qur’an Maxims series with Sheikh Ahmad Saleem. The Almighty Allah says:<\/p>\n

He will guide the heart of anyone who believes in Him.<\/strong> (At-Taghabun<\/a> 64:11)<\/p>\n

In this episode, Sheikh Ahmad gives us a brief talk about the difference between iman<\/i> (faith) and taqwa<\/i> (fear of Allah). He tells us that the pillars of faith are six, as mentioned in both the Qur’an<\/a>, and the Sunnah<\/a> of the Prophet (peace be upon him). They include faith in Allah, faith in the angles, faith in the revealed books, faith in the Prophets, faith in the Last Day, and finally faith in the predestination.<\/p>\n

He then goes on to talk about the state of the heart of the believer, and the issue that the faith may be increased or decreased.<\/p>\n
