Also, it is not required to perform ablution if one is going to read the <strong>Qur\u2019an<\/strong> by heart. In addition, it is permissible for a woman to read the<strong> Qur\u2019an<\/strong> while she is menstruating or after post-children bleeding without touching the<strong> <em>Mushaf<\/em><\/strong>. Touching it is permissible only for those who are in state of <em>taharah <\/em>(purification).<\/p>\n<p>Regarding reading the <strong>Qur\u2019an<\/strong> without covering head, Dr. Muhammad Salah says that it is not required for a woman to wear a hijab if she wants to read the <strong>Qur\u2019an<\/strong>.
