Welcome to a new interesting episode of Correct Your Recitation series with Sheikh Muhammad Salah and his guests. First Sheikh Isma`il recites Surat Al-Ghashiyah (the eighty eighth chapter of the Qur\u2019an). It is a Makki surah and its verses are twenty-six.<\/p>\n

Sheikh Salah begins his talk by mentioning that the Surah reflects what will happen after the reckoning on the Day of Judgment. It gives us a clear description to the dwellers of fire.<\/p>\n

Then, he sheds some light on their torment on that day. They will drink from a spoiling water spring and their food will be a thorny and poisonous plant. On the contrary, the dwellers of paradise, their faces will be delighted and joyful.<\/p>\n

After that, he goes on describing what Allah has prepared for the dwellers of paradise and the greatness of Allah the Almighty in his creation.<\/p>\n

In the second part of the episode, Sheikh Salah reviews a new rule of tajweed (recitation) which is Al-Mad (lengthening).<\/p>\n
