Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 14pt\">Majority of the scholars believe that alcohol is prohibited and they say it is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prayerinislam.com\/fatwas-rulings\/how-to-remove-impurity-in-islam\/\">impure<\/a> (<em>najis<\/em>). Drinking it in small or large quantity is absolutely prohibited. But can we use ethanol i.e., pure alcohol to clean our hands in the form of gels, wipes and sanitizers?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 14pt\">Every <em>Najis<\/em> is prohibited but not every <em>haram<\/em> is <em>najis<\/em>.
