Whether one or both of them attain old age in thy life, say not to them a word of contempt, nor repel them, but address them in terms of honour. <\/strong> (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.quran.com\/17\/23\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Al-Israa\u00a017:23<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>What does Islam tell about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.new-muslims.info\/featured\/parents-islam-rights-status\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">parents<\/a>; where does Islam, according to this verse, place parents? How accordingly should we act towards them, why?<\/p>\n<p>Besides, how could we practically work on and strengthen our relations with our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.new-muslims.info\/featured\/parents-islam-rights-status\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">parents<\/a>, the parents of our relatives and friends, and all the elderly in our neighborhoods and communities?
