There are many verses of the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.the-faith.com\/featured-posts\/quran-deal-abuse-women\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Qur&#8217;an<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.the-faith.com\/featured-posts\/10-hadiths-about-women\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hadiths<\/a> of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.the-faith.com\/prophet-muhammad\/prophet-biography\/who-is-muhammad-part-3-the-prophet-at-madinah\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Prophet<\/a> (peace be upon him) dealing with this issue. It was a principle constantly exercised by the noble companions of the Prophet in their illustrious rule of justice which lasted close to 40 years.<\/p>\n<p>God Almighty stated in the Qur&#8217;an describing the people of paradise:<\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><strong>&#8220;And those who have responded to their Lord and established the prayers and whose affairs are determined by consultation among themselves, and from what We have provided them, they spend&#8221;<\/strong> (\u0650\u0650Ash-Shura 42:38)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>And He, the Almighty, addressed his speech to his <a href=\"http:\/\/www.the-faith.com\/prophet-muhammad\/prophet-biography\/biography-of-prophet-muhammad-1-3\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Prophet Muhammad<\/a>\u00a0and Muslim leaders specifically and the mankind in general saying:<\/p>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><strong>&#8220;\u2026and consult with them (your companions) in the matter&#8221;\u00a0<\/strong>(Aal `Imran 3:159)<\/div>\n<p>As he was commanded, the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.the-faith.com\/prophet-muhammad\/prophet-biography\/biography-of-the-prophet-muhammad-2-3\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Prophet Muhammad<\/a> consulted his companions on numerous occasions throughout his Prophethood.<\/p>\n<p>It is said:<\/p>\n<div>There is no failure to the one who consulted others in a matter and no regret for the one who sought the guidance of God in a matter and no deviation from the right path for the one who adopted moderation and balance in their affairs.<\/div>\n<p>The heavy majority of Muslim jurists teach us that consultation and considering the recommendations of those qualified to give them is obligatory; however it is not obligatory upon the leader to execute recommendations of others.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<a href='https:\/\/www.the-faith.com\/consultation-in-islam\/' target='_blank'>Soucre Link<\/a>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The principle of consultation is a much related issue to the topic of democracy.
