Whatever is in the heavens and earth is exalting Him. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.<\/span> <\/strong>(<a href=\"http:\/\/www.learning-quran.com\/quran-translations\/en-translation\/mishari-bin-rashid\/recitation-surat-al-hashr\/\">Al-Hashr<\/a> 59:27)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif\">Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, <span style=\"color: #800000\">\u201cAllah has ninety-nine Names, i.e., one hundred minus one, and whoever believes in their meanings and acts accordingly, will enter Paradise; and Allah is <em>witr<\/em> (one) and loves \u2018the <em>witr<\/em>\u2018 (i.e., odd numbers).\u201d<\/span> (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.the-faith.com\/islamic-history\/albukhari-the-imam-of-hadith-and-sunnah\/\">Al-Bukhari<\/a>)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif\"><strong>Dr. Yasir Qadhi<\/strong> continues his commentary on the Beautiful Names and Attributes of Allah Almighty. <em>At-Tawwab<\/em> is the One who accepts all those who return to Him. And how many of us need to return to Him?<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif\"><span style=\"color: #008000\"><strong>&#8220;And it is He who accepts repentance from his servants and pardons misdeeds, and He knows what you do.&#8221;<\/strong><\/span> (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.learning-quran.com\/quran-translations\/en-translation\/al-ajmi-al-ghamidi-and-al-lahuni\/recitation-surat-ash-shura-3\/\">Ash-Shura<\/a> 42:25)<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif\">Despite knowing all that we do, He accepts our turning back to Him. Human beings, even our own parents sometimes, get tired of us. When we have ignored them for a while or have done something they dislike, they may reject us. But Allah Almighty reminds us:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif\"><span style=\"color: #008000\"><strong>Do they not know that it is Allah who accepts repentance from His servants and receives charities and that it is Allah who is the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful?<\/strong> <\/span>(<a href=\"http:\/\/www.learning-quran.com\/quran-translations\/en-translation\/recitation-surat-at-tawbah\/\">At-Tawbah<\/a> 9:104)<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif\">That is why He has named Himself <em>At-Tawwab<\/em>: so we know that whatever level we are at, He will accept us if we return to Him sincerely.
