The Majesty of Ruku`: Bowing with Heart and Body<\/strong><\/h3>\n

When we prepare for salah<\/strong>, we are not just entering a routine\u2014we are stepping into a meeting with our Creator<\/strong>. Just as we would prepare to meet someone important in this world, we ready our bodies and hearts to stand before the King of Kings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Transition into Ruku`: Allahu Akbar<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Each shift in prayer is marked with \u201cAllahu Akbar\u201d<\/strong>\u2014God is Greater. This declaration serves as a reminder: Allah is greater than all distractions<\/strong>, anxieties, or worldly thoughts. When we raise our hands and bow, we symbolically lower ourselves in humility, acknowledging that all greatness belongs to Allah alone.<\/p>\n

The Physical Form of Ruku`<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The Prophet \ufdfa taught us not to rush this sacred act. He instructed:<\/p>\n

\u201cPlace your palms on your knees, spread your fingers, and keep your back straight until every limb is at rest.\u201d<\/em>

Rushing ruku` or sujud is like a starving person who eats one or two dates and moves on<\/strong>\u2014it doesn’t nourish. Likewise, our soul remains unfed when our prayer lacks depth and stillness.<\/p>\n

Spiritual Dua\u2019 in Ruku<\/code><\/strong><\/h4>\n

In ruku`, we glorify Allah with the words:<\/p>\n
