The true friend or companion is the one who accepts your shortcomings, but at the same time guides and supports you. A good friend is the one who loves and forgives you for the sake of Almighty Allah. So, a believer must choose his friends carefully.<\/p>\n<p>In this talk, Sheikh Abdul Nasir Jangda reflects on the following verses from Surat Al-Furqan (the 25<sup>th<\/sup> Chapter of the Qur\u2019an) explaining the importance of good companions,<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;padding-right: 30px\"><strong>And the Day the wrongdoer will bite on his hands [in regret] he will say, &#8220;Oh, I wish I had taken with the Messenger a way.<\/strong> <strong>Oh, woe to me! I wish I had not taken that one as a friend.<\/strong> <strong>He led me away from the remembrance after it had come to me.
