They [are the ones who] believe in it. <\/strong>(<a href=\"http:\/\/www.learning-quran.com\/quran-translations\/en-translation\/recitation-surat-al-baqarah\/\">Al-Baqarah<\/a> 2:121)<\/p>\n<p>Welcome to a new interesting episode of \u201cCorrect Your Recitation\u201d series with Sheikh Muhammad Salah and his guests. First Sheikh Isma`il recites the full <em>surahs<\/em> of <em>Ad-Duha <\/em>(Morning Bright), Ash-Sharh, and At-Teen. <em>Surat <\/em><em>Ad-Duha <\/em>is the 93<sup>th<\/sup> chapter of the Qur\u2019an with eleven verses. It is one of the first<em> surahs<\/em> that were revealed in Makkah. It is the second <em>surah<\/em> revealed to the Prophet (peace be upon him) after Surat Al-`Alaq. It commences with many oaths sworn on astronomical phenomena such as morning, night, etc. The main theme of the surah is to remove the anxiety and distress that caused to the Prophet (peace be upon him) by the suspension of revelation.<\/p>\n<p>As usual Dr. Muhammad Salah begins his talk by reflecting on the verses of the <em>surahs<\/em> to ease their understanding for viewers. After that, Dr. Muhammad explains some new rules of <em>tajweed<\/em> (rulings of recitation) regarding <em>madd<\/em> (lengthening). The required attached <em>madd<\/em> occurs when a <em>hamzah<\/em> follows a <em>madd<\/em> letter in the same word. It should be lengthened four or five counts.
