They [are the ones who] believe in it. <\/strong>(<a href=\"http:\/\/www.learning-quran.com\/quran-translations\/en-translation\/recitation-surat-al-baqarah\/\">Al-Baqarah<\/a> 2:121)<\/p>\n<p>Welcome to a new interesting episode of \u201cCorrect Your Recitation\u201d series with Sheikh Muhammad Salah and his guests. First Sheikh Isma`il recites the full <em>surah<\/em> of Ash-Sharh (the Relief) and Surat At-Tin (the Fig). <em>Surat <\/em>Ash-Sharh is the 94<sup>th<\/sup> chapter of the Qur\u2019an with eight verses. It is one of the first<em> surahs<\/em> that were revealed in Makkah during the early days of prophethood. It was revealed after surat Ad-Duha. The main theme of the surah is to remove the anxiety and distress that caused to the Prophet (peace be upon him) by the suspension of revelation. Surat At-Tin is the 95<sup>th<\/sup> chapter of the Qur\u2019an with eight verses. It was also revealed in Makkah. It reminds people with the great blessings of Allah.<\/p>\n<p>As usual Dr. Muhammad Salah begins his talk by reflecting on the verses of the <em>surahs<\/em> to ease their understanding for viewers. After that, Dr. Muhammad explains some new rules of <em>tajweed<\/em> (rulings of recitation) regarding <em>madd<\/em> (lengthening). The separate <em>madd<\/em> occurs when a <em>hamzah<\/em> follows a <em>madd<\/em> letter in two separate words. It should be lengthened two or four counts.
