{"id":14958,"date":"2026-04-20T04:37:43","date_gmt":"2026-04-20T04:37:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/imuslim.us\/?p=14958"},"modified":"2026-04-20T04:37:43","modified_gmt":"2026-04-20T04:37:43","slug":"why-should-we-surrender-to-god","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/imuslim.us\/?p=14958","title":{"rendered":"Why Should We Surrender to God?"},"content":{"rendered":"<pre><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">By Editorial Staff<\/span><\/strong><\/pre>\n<p>What&#8217;s God&#8217;s plan for us?<br \/>\nWhy did <a href=\"http:\/\/www.the-faith.com\/featured-posts\/god-is-the-light-of-the-heavens-and-the-earth-how\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">God<\/a> create us?<br \/>\nWhat is our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.the-faith.com\/featured-posts\/purpose-of-life\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">purpose in life<\/a>?<br \/>\nIs there <a href=\"http:\/\/www.the-faith.com\/featured-posts\/death-journey-afterlife\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">life after death<\/a>?<br \/>\nIs Islam a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.the-faith.com\/featured-posts\/islam-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">complete way of life<\/a>?<br \/>\nShould we question God about His will for us?<br \/>\nDoes surrendering to the will of God contradict the concept of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.the-faith.com\/featured-posts\/freedom-human-right\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">free will<\/a>?<br \/>\nAre we held accountable for our actions and choices?<br \/>\nWho is in complete control of this <a href=\"http:\/\/www.the-faith.com\/featured-posts\/islams-attitude-toward-the-universe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">universe<\/a>?<br \/>\nWho is watching us all the time?<\/p>\n<p>We read in the Quran what means:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><strong>Allah does not wish to impose hardship upon you. Rather, He wishes to purify you; and to complete His blessings upon you; and in order that you may be thankful.<\/strong> (Al-Ma&#8217;idah 5:6)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><strong>Say: \u2018Nothing shall ever happen to us except what Allah has ordained for us. He is our Lord, Helper and Protector\u2019 and in Allah let the believers put their trust<\/strong>. (At-Tawbah 9:51)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><strong>It is not for a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decided a matter, that they should [thereafter] have any choice about their affair. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly strayed into clear error.<\/strong> (Al-Ahzab 33:36)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">\n<strong>But no, by your Lord, they will not [truly] believe until they make you, [O Muhammad], judge concerning that over which they dispute among themselves and then find within themselves no discomfort from what you have judged and submit in [full, willing] submission.<\/strong> (An-Nisaa&#8217; 4:65)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">\n<strong>And whoever submits his face to Allah while he is a doer of good &#8211; then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold.
