Whatever is in the heavens and earth is exalting Him. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise. <\/strong>(<a href=\"http:\/\/www.learning-quran.com\/quran-translations\/en-translation\/mishari-bin-rashid\/recitation-surat-al-hashr\/\">Al-Hashr <\/a>59:27)<\/p>\n<p>Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, \u201cAllah has ninety-nine Names, i.e., one hundred minus one, and whoever believes in their meanings and acts accordingly, will enter Paradise; and Allah is <em>witr<\/em> (one) and loves <em>\u2018the witr\u2018<\/em> (i.e., odd numbers).\u201d (Al-Bukhari)<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Yasir Qadhi continues his commentary on the Beautiful Names and Attributes of Allah Almighty. He explains the concept of \u2018As-Salam\u2019 and its derivatives which has been mentioned in the Qur\u2019an. The name As-Salam has three meanings as follows:<\/p>\n<p>1- To be free from imperfection and deficiencies;<\/p>\n<p>2- To grant the ultimate peace for His creatures; and<\/p>\n<p>3- To greet the believers in Him with the greeting of <em>salam<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>This name occurs only one time in the Qur\u2019an as we read,<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;padding-right: 30px\"><strong>He is Allah , other than whom there is no deity, the Sovereign, the Pure, the Perfection<\/strong>.
