Zakah purifies the soul and the money.<\/p><\/div>\n
Zakah\u00a0<\/a>is the third pillar of Islam<\/a>.\u00a0Zakah\u00a0purifies the soul and the money. It makes the rich feel the sufferings of the poor. \u00a0Allah says in the Quran what means:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
Take, [O, Muhammad], from their wealth a charity by which you purify them and cause them increase, and invoke [ Allah ‘s blessings] upon them. Indeed, your invocations are reassurance for them. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing.<\/strong> (At-Tawbah 9:103)<\/span><\/p>\n
About the recepients of zakah, we read in the Quran<\/a> what means:<\/p>\n
Zakah expenditures are only for the poor and for the needy and for those employed to collect [zakah] and for bringing hearts together [for Islam] and for freeing captives [or slaves] and for those in debt and for the cause of Allah and for the [stranded] traveler – an obligation [imposed] by Allah. And Allah is Knowing and Wise. <\/strong>(At-Tawbah 9:60)<\/p>\n
