The only school of thought that differs is the Hanafi. The Hanafi school believes the Imam is doing it for you and that is enough.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 14pt\">On further introspection of our sunnah we find an authentic <em>hadith<\/em> that says &#8220;there is no prayer for the one who has not recited the opening of the book &#8211; meaning Surat Al-Fatihah&#8221;.
