Through the connection with Allah, a believer finds solace and peace.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"457\" data-end=\"759\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"460\" data-end=\"759\"><strong data-start=\"460\" data-end=\"491\">Prayer is a Source of Mercy<\/strong><br data-start=\"491\" data-end=\"494\" \/>Allah, in the Qur&#8217;an, links prayer to receiving mercy:<br data-start=\"551\" data-end=\"554\" \/><em data-start=\"557\" data-end=\"647\">\u201cAnd establish prayer, give zakah, and obey the Messenger \u2013 that you may receive mercy.\u201d<\/em><br data-start=\"647\" data-end=\"650\" \/>\u2014 <strong data-start=\"655\" data-end=\"673\">(An-Nur 24:26)<\/strong><br data-start=\"673\" data-end=\"676\" \/>Prayer is a key cause of Allah&#8217;s mercy, guiding us to His forgiveness and grace.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"761\" data-end=\"1168\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"764\" data-end=\"1168\"><strong data-start=\"764\" data-end=\"829\">Prayer is Integral to Success in This World and the Hereafter<\/strong><br data-start=\"829\" data-end=\"832\" \/>The Qur&#8217;an clearly defines the believers&#8217; path to success:<br data-start=\"893\" data-end=\"896\" \/><em data-start=\"899\" data-end=\"1000\">\u201cCertainly, will the believers have succeeded. They who are during their prayer humbly submissive.\u201d<\/em><br data-start=\"1000\" data-end=\"1003\" \/>\u2014 <strong data-start=\"1008\" data-end=\"1032\">(Al-Mu\u2019minun 23:1-2)<\/strong><br data-start=\"1032\" data-end=\"1035\" \/>Success in both this life and the next is tied to the quality of our prayer, particularly when offered with humility and devotion.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"1170\" data-end=\"1583\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1173\" data-end=\"1583\"><strong data-start=\"1173\" data-end=\"1210\">Beware of Distraction from Prayer<\/strong><br data-start=\"1210\" data-end=\"1213\" \/>Allah warns that those who allow their wealth or children to distract them from their prayer will face consequences.
