For a fasting person in Ramadan, the approval of his actions is reflected by his adherence to the various acts of worship as well as the moral standards he has followed up in Ramadan after the elapse of the month.

Al-Hasan Al-Basri said,

“Among the reward of good doing is the guidance to another good deed and among the punishment of a bad deed is swerving to another bad deed. If Allah accepts from someone, He guides him to obedience and discourages him from disobedience.”

The second thing is to continue on these good acts. It was the habit of the Prophet (peace be upon him) that if he performs a good deed, he will persist in offering them.

Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:

“Do as much of good deed you can, for Allah does not get tired (of giving reward) until you get tired (of doing). The most beloved of deeds to Allah are those that are continuous, even if they are few.” And whenever he (peace be upon him) began an action, he would do it continuously.” (An-Nasaa’i)

The third thing is to remain between fear and hope regarding the good deeds. The true believer worries about the good acts he has done, fearing that they are refused and hoping that they are accepted. Almighty Allah told us in the Quran that the true believers pay in charity while having deep fears that they are not accepted. God says,

Indeed, they who are apprehensive from fear of their Lord. And they who believe in the signs of their Lord. And they who do not associate anything with their Lord. And they who give what they give while their hearts are fearful because they will be returning to their Lord. It is those who hasten to good deeds, and they outstrip [others] therein. (Al-Mu’minun 23:57-61)

Abdur-Rahman ibn Wahb narrated from Aishah that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “I asked about the Messenger of Allah about this verse, And they who give what they give while their hearts are fearful… (Al-Mu’minun 23:60)

Aishah said:

“Are they those who drink wine and steal?” He said: “No, O daughter of As-Siddiq (Abu Bakr). They are those who fast, perform prayer, give charity while they fear that their Lord will not accept it from them: It is these who hasten to do good deeds, and they are the foremost of them .” (At-Tirmidhi)

In the following video, Sheikh AbdurRaheem McCarthy discusses the means of keeping up the good deeds after Ramadan. The video is very important for the fasting persons who are worried about their deeds and give utmost care to their relationship with God after Ramadan as they had in Ramadan.

_____________________

Source: DigitalMimbar (khalifahklothing) Youtube Channel

Soucre Link

In the following video, Sheikh AbdurRaheem McCarthy discusses the means of keeping up the good deeds after the blessed month of Ramadan.

{"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false

3218,2404
7057,7058,7059,7060,6670,9,7061,7062,7063,6671,7064,7065,7066,7067,6672,6673,6674,7068,6675,7069,7070,7071,7072,7073,7074,7075,6676,6677,6678,6679,6680,6681,6682,6683,6684,6685,6686,6687,3260
post-10208","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-fasting","category-the-faith","tag-1-month-after-ramadan","tag-3-days-after-ramadan","tag-6-fasts-after-ramadan","tag-6-roza-after-ramadan","tag-after-ramadhan-khutbah","tag-featured","tag-what-date-is-eid-after-ramadan","tag-what-day-is-eid-after-ramadan","tag-what-do-you-say-after-ramadan-is-over","tag-what-happens-after-ramadan","tag-what-happens-after-ramadan-2013","tag-what-happens-after-ramadan-2014","tag-what-happens-after-ramadan-ends","tag-what-happens-after-ramadan-is-over","tag-what-holiday-is-after-ramadan","tag-what-is-after-ramadan","tag-what-is-expected-of-a-muslim-after-ramadan","tag-what-is-next-after-ramadan","tag-what-is-ramadan-named-after","tag-what-is-the-celebration-after-ramadan-called","tag-what-is-the-celebration-that-comes-after-the-ramadan-month","tag-what-is-the-day-after-ramadan","tag-what-is-the-day-after-ramadan-called","tag-what-is-the-eid-after-ramadan-called","tag-what-is-the-fast-after-ramadan","tag-what-is-the-feast-after-ramadan-called","tag-what-is-the-greeting-after-ramadan","tag-what-is-the-month-after-ramadan","tag-what-is-the-month-after-ramadan-called","tag-what-is-the-muslim-holiday-after-ramadan","tag-what-is-the-name-of-the-eid-after-ramadan","tag-what-is-the-name-of-the-month-after-ramadan","tag-what-is-the-next-month-after-ramadan","tag-what-is-the-party-after-ramadan-called","tag-what-islamic-month-is-after-ramadan","tag-what-month-is-after-ramadan","tag-what-next-after-ramadan-fasting","tag-what-to-say-after-ramadan-kareem","tag-what-to-say-after-ramadan-mubarak
["GET
